Apple Passkeys to Put an End to Passwords in iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Ventura

Apple is introducing a password-less login scheme called Passkeys with iOS 16, macOS Ventura and iPadOS 16. They use iCloud Keychain public key credentials and rely on biometric identification for signing in to websites or apps. Passkeys are end‑to‑end encrypted and sync across Apple devices.
